BH Fitness Exercycle+ Smart Bike

The Exercycle uses EMS induction braking to generate its resistance, with 24 different levels, to provide even the most advanced user with a challenging and productive workout. This advanced system doesn’t have any moving parts, and uses an electromagnet, which makes it durable and is typically used in demanding, commercial environments. The magnetic resistance used by the Exercycle is extremely quiet, and produces a smooth, realistic cycling feel. Featuring an 11kg flywheel and a heavy duty belt, the bike is durable and powerful. As well as the slick, smooth feel of the ride, the magnetic resistance produces an ultra-quiet ride, so the user doesn’t feel limited as to when and where they can use the bike. The bike’s true-to-life realism is enhanced further by the slight flexibility—or torsion—of the frame, which gives you the feeling of lateral movement you’d get on an outdoor bike.

Sitting atop the handlebars, built elegantly into the frame, is a compact LCD workout console. On its easily-readable screen are all the key workout stats you could need, such as speed, distance, time, calories burned, heart rate, RPM, and more, and these are even broken down further into instant, percentage, average, and maximum values. The simplicity of the console accommodates a wide variety of user technological aptitudes, and helps keep you focused on the workout. The console is inset into the part of the frame which supports the integrated device holder. This device holder lets you have your phone or tablet at eye level during your workouts, keeping you motivated and entertained as you push on with your fitness journey.

The free Exercycle Connect app is a fantastic tool for tracking your progress over time. Its interface is simple, clear, colourful, and easy to understand. You are able to connect the app, via Bluetooth, to your Exercycle Bike in order to receive real-time stats, all while pedalling. All the important stats can be displayed: speed, distance, time, and you can even train with watt or pulse zones to improve your performance. In addition to these key stats, you also get split times and handy graphs and visualisations that will make tracking your progress easy and enjoyable. The built-in device holder allows you to set up your phone or tablet directly in front of you, keeping key stats in your eyeline.

The Exercycle Connect app can be connected to other commonly-used training apps, such as Strava and Apple Health, and Google Fit. You can track in real-time or over a longer period, analyse your progression, and even share with friends with the Exercycle Connect app, free with the BH Fitness Exercycle+ Smart Bike. The Exercycle+ uses the FMTS Bluetooth protocol, which ensures easier and wider connectivity.
