FULL-BODY WORKOUT
For people with lowered mobility, staying active can be complicated. It’s often difficult to find fitness equipment that suits their needs. Keiser wanted to design a machine which would satisfy that need, and so created the M7i Recumbent Stepper. Users are able to pedal, or step, with resistance generated from Keiser’s magnetic technology, and get the feeling of ascending real stairs. Users can step against the resistance generated by Keiser’s powerful magnetic braking technology, and the 20cm stroke is very similar to most real-world stairs, which provides a realistic rehab experience. The digital magnetic resistance is smooth yet powerful, ensuring a low-impact workout in terms of strain. The M7i’s upper-body component uses long-grip arm handles to give the user a full-body exercise session.
ESSENTIALS-ONLY CONSOLE
The M7i is equipped with a workout console which displays real-time workout stats. The console sticks to the key statistics, negating the need for multiple screens, and in turn negating the need for buttons. Having to cycle through different pages can be distracting and challenging when in the middle of a workout, so the stripped-back, essentials-only console on the M7i is perfect for keeping you focused on your workout. Without the need for buttons, the console has less chance of wear and tear. Large lettering and a high contrast makes the console very easy to read, and it displays stats such as calories burned, steps climbed, heart rate, and elapsed time.
POWERFUL REHAB MACHINE
The recumbent nature of the machine offers users back support and a comfortable sitting position. ADJUSTABLE
The M7i has a fully adjustable seat, which can be moved forward and backwards to accommodate different user heights. As well as the height adjustment, the seat swivels to allow wheelchair users, or those with limited mobility more generally, to easily get into the machine. The seat and pedal heights are also low, which makes it easier to engage the M7i. The pedals limit ankle flexion to minimise strain on joints while using the machine, and the back and side walls help to keep the user’s foot secure in the footpad. The handles are also adjustable to suit a range of user arm lengths, and if you don’t want to use the upper-body part of the machine, there are stationary handles by the side of the seat.
COMPATIBLE
The stepper can be connected to one of the many workout apps and services it’s compatible with. The free Keiser M Series App will help motivate you, displaying real-time workout data, with more comprehensive metrics and vibrant, easy-to-read visualisations. Guided sessions which range in duration, difficulty, and format allow you to tailor your workout to your needs. You’ll also be able to track your progress over time, and you can even sync the M Series App to Apple Health and Strava.
Also included are adjustable levellers, allowing users to set the M7i up on uneven surfaces. The resistance can be easily controlled by the simple dial at the centre of the machine.
