When it arrived I was a little bit put off by the overall quality. The bar does feel solid, good grip and feels like it could take a bit of weight. There is no bearing so the turn on the collars is very rough. I’d debate, particularly on an EZ bar whether it’s needed on a budget range and whether it would feel better if it was just solid. That said I had to remember this was only £50 which is extremely cheap compared to other budget makes and for the price it’s a pretty good bar.

Decent equipment at fair price
You can pay more and get ball bearing sleeves, but for any regular gym this is fine, cost effective and with excellent build quality. Came with screw collars.
