LOW-IMPACT WORKOUT
Elliptical cross trainers are one of the best options for users looking for low-impact workouts from the comfort of home. The cardiostrong EX40 Elliptical Cross Trainer is an excellent option; featuring a high-quality magnetic brake system with silent magnetic resistance and a sturdy 28kg flywheel- yet remaining light and compact- this cross trainer is super effective for a whole variety of users. The softly padded treads ensure training is super comfortable, even without shoes. Of course, a handy water bottle holder is within arm's reach to keep you hydrated throughout your session.
LCD CONSOLE
The oversized LCD console is equipped with quick keys and a variety of 19 workout programmes to choose from, including 1 custom and 4 heart rate controlled options, allowing you to specifically optimise your training needs based on your specific goals, whether that's to burn fat or to improve cardiovascular fitness. The console can also store up to 4 individual user profiles so you can keep track of your previous workouts and monitor your own progress. Your heart rate can be measured either with the hand pulse sensors on the handlebars or with an optional chest strap.
ADJUSTABILITY
To accommodate a variety of users, the cardiostrong EX40 Elliptical Cross Trainer is highly adjustable; the treads are adjusted in three steps horizontally and the handlebars in four steps vertically, accommodating shorter and taller users alike. The LCD console can also be tilted depending on the height of the treads, ensuring super easy access to the console throughout your workout. The resistance zone can be varied from 10 to 350 watts so that you can constantly adapt the workout to your training requirements.
RECOMMENDED ACCESSORIES
As with all indoor fitness bikes, it is always recommended to place a CV mat underneath the bike to protect the machine and your flooring.

Great quality
This cross trainer is amazingly well built despite having such a small footprint. It is great for targeting the larger muscles in my legs and also help tone the upper muscles with the pushing and pulling action.

Amazing cross trainer in home-friendly size
Top-notch home gym cross trainer. It's very compact in size, easy to move around but it's still very sturdy and does the job well. Both the handles and the footplates can be adjusted and the resistance is silent and very smooth. The console is preloaded with many entertaining workouts and keeps you motivated.

A shorter machine was what I wanted and this was a really solid option. Clear simple console, easy to read but none of the squeaking i’ve seen in cheaper models. My sister tried it and is now looking to buy one.

Perfect for saving space
So compact and yet very sturdy! perfect if you do not have the space at home! i find this very affective , i use it 4 times a week often exploring the built in programes it offers. cross trainers have always been my go to machine so this was a no brainer.

All Rounder
Being someone who doesn’t like all these new fancy pieces of equipment with every plus more added into it I decided to purchase a non complicated crosstrainer and thats exactly what I got. Absolutly perfect from start to finish with the sales team delivery was nice and easy, assemble a little tricky but the operation of the machine when in use is second to none. Very pleased and would recommend probably to the older generation like myself.

Very impressed...
Lacks the bells and whistles of some of the trendy, more modern, blue tooth equipped machines but to me these are gimmicks and I just wanted a cross-trainer that does what a cross-trainer is designed to do well. And it's ABSOLUTELY brilliant - very sturdy, stable, quiet during use, super smooth, a very intuitive and easy to use display and great range of resistance settings and programs. I had a minor issue with one of the handles wobbling a little after putting it together but power house sent me replacement parts with no quibbles which has fully resolved the problem. Very well engineered machine that feels no different to the one at the gym. Can't recommend it more highly - I'm EXTREMELY happy with it.

Nice mid-range machine - very smooth and quiet
Took a punt on this for indoor training when injured from runs. Very pleased with the quality of the item. It's very heavy to move, so is stable when in final location. The three height settings cater for both me and partner (range from 5'6" - 6') easily. User programming is easy if the presets do meet your needs. Best of all, was that I was expecting a clunky machines that made a lot of noise when in use. However this machine is super smooth. We have it in a spare bedroom next to my son's bedroom and it doesn't disturb his bedtime, nor relaxing in the lounge beneath when in use. Very please with purchased and the faultless delivery from PHF.
