HEAVY-DUTY DESIGN
Built with commercial-grade steel, the Taurus Elite Plate Loading Hip Thrust can withstand your fiercest workouts. With a maximum weight load of 300kg, everyone from beginners to advanced users will be able to get a challenging workout. Industrial vinyl upholstered pads are built for comfort and are also easy to clean after use. The frame also comes with two plate storage horns for easy access to plates.
ADJUSTABLE
The Taurus Elite Plate Loading Hip Thrust is built to suit all users by providing multiple adjustment points to accommodate the user's height and comfort. The large footplate is oversized to accommodate a variety of shoe sizes and stance preferences, with a protective lip to avoid any foot sliding.
GLUTES, HIPS AND ABS
The hip thrust is a fantastic compound exercise that works a number of muscles through movement and static stages. The exercise primarily targets the gluteus maximus (your bum) but also includes the quadriceps as a synergist (helper muscle) and hamstrings toward the top of the exercise to assist in dynamic stabilisation. At the top of the exercise, during the short hold, you use your erector spinae (lower back muscles) to stabilise the body before returning to the starting position. During the downward phase, your body will also utilise the rectus abdominis (six-pack) and obliques for control.
