BodyCraft F430 Power Rack

great rack. stable (without bolting to floor), eg. doesn\'t move even when I at 95kg do pullups. easy to put together. not too tall so fits in the garage without problem. get the extra hooks to save a few seconds (switching between bench and squat). Very happy.

Great product and much better quality than I thought for the price. I am 6"8 and fit inside the cage which is also designed to fit in a garage or smaller home gym environment. Body max Olympic coloured rubber weights and bar more expensive than standard metal or black but look great and work well (note I do not intend to drop these which they don't recommend unless you have a specialist sprung/rubber floor. Delivery staff very polite and in contact by text and mobile on the delivery day. Powerhouse fitness charged an extra £19.99 for quicker delivery which in my case was three days from order to arrival (not bad if you don't have patience). The cardboard box packaging on the Olympic weights was slightly damaged and damp but this did not effect the product inside so no reason not to award five stars.

This rack does everything I want and more. Brilliant quality, i got the dip bars with it and an extra pair of J hooks too. Its versatile and so strong. Couldnt recommend enough for the price of it!

Powerhouse fitness had a fantastic range of equipment at a competitive price. The delivery was also surprisingly quick. Would definitely recommend them to friends and use them again myself in the future. I bought a Bodycraft F430 power rack which is stunning. Love it.

I didn't realise it at the time but i had previously used powerhouse fitness local store (Batley) way back in the early 2000's. I had great service then and the online experience was just as good. The product was delivered within 3 days and exactly as described. Powerhouse were also the cheapest online. Look forward to using them again soon

First off, this is packaged well so little risk of damage in transit even with heavy handed couriers. Second, it’s large and heavy (128kg!) – just about manageable by yourself but an extra pair of hands would not go amiss. The instructions are short but it’s not a complicated piece of kit to put together, just make sure to think about where you’re putting the bar catches before attaching the top frame (I bought a second set so have a set front and back for work inside/outside the cage). The rear uprights have an offset fixing for the top frame so need to be put on the right way round (guess how I know that…). Working by myself it took about an hour, including unpacking etc. to put together. Again, a second pair of hands would help but it’s quite reasonable to build by yourself (being 6ft1 helps). From memory all nuts and bolts were either 14 or 19mm, you’ll need a pair of 19mm to hold the bolt head whilst tightening the nyloc nuts, the 14mm bolts go into a threaded part of the top frame. Usage – well, it’s a cage and it works. The bar hooks are quick to adjust, just pull the red handle and slide up/down as appropriate. The hole spacing is 50mm (2 inch) so plenty adjustable enough. My only ‘gripe’ is the bar hooks have rubber inserts, I can see these wearing out and when they do I can see myself just welding in a sacrificial piece of mild steel instead. Otherwise it’s sturdy, the chin bar is set back slightly from the front of the cage and high enough to allow some decent leg dangling. Downside - the bar is straight so it would be nice to have a wide, angled bar for wide grip pull ups. Overall height isn’t enough for me to do standing presses within the rack but if you’re a few inches shorter/have short arms you may be ok! Overall, it’s a sizeable piece of kit, well made and reasonable value for money. Very happy with my purchase.

Excellent service from Powerhouse Fitness Easy to assemble...though the exploded diagram initially looks scary. Infact I (50 year old woman) assembled it single handedly,yes it would have been easier with 2 but totally do-able with one. Didn't take as long as I thought either 1-2 hours including the bench It has every thing I need ....the reason I chose this one was because it had a straight pull up bar so that I can work on getting a muscle-up Very happy with my purchase

I'm new to weight training however I decided to go for this rack after seeing the reviews. This is top quality equipment and the adage 'You get what you pay for' certainly applies to this rack. I'm extremely happy with my purchase and I expe this will last longer than I will! It takes a while to put together if you're on your own however it's sturdy, solid and feels like quality. My advice as probably mentioned before is to get an extra set of hooks before putting this together as once it's made it's difficult to take apart. In summary I'd recommend this piece of equipment to anyone looking at starting a weights programme.

I'm over the moon with the Bodycraft F430, it is a solid well engineered power rack at a really good price. A power cage/rack is brilliant if you're training to failure, using really heavy weights and/or training alone.
