The multi-gym offers hundreds of exercise options from traditional strength training, to functional training, core training, sports specific training, and rehabilitation exercises. There is also the option of adding a Leg Press/Calf for more intense lower body workouts.
ACTIVE BALANCE SYSTEM™
Fitted with the BodyCraft Active Balance System™, simply engage the pin for traditional ‘machine style’ bench presses, or pull the pin for "barbell style" bench press. In other words, when the overhead pin is engaged, the press arm is rigid like all other home gyms.
When the pin is pulled, the press arm is allowed to swivel just enough that the user must balance the press arm, just like a barbell. The Active Balance System™ provides for symmetry and all the benefits of a barbell, yet the safety of a machine!
FUNCTIONALITY
- Unique Double-Up Feature: increases the resistance to a 1:2 ratio, providing up to 400 pounds of resistance on press arm.
- Adjustable Arms Cable Station: with 11 position adjustments, allows for a very wide array of exercises including Functional Training, Sports Specific, Core Training and (cable) Dumbbell Training.
- Ab Crunch/Mid Pulley Station: for abdominal training, standing rows, etc.

Follow-up to my two previous reviews
Ok, so now I have had my Bodycraft Elite for eight years, and other than some tarnishing here and there, it is still pretty much as good as new. Ok, I currently use it four or five times a week, and the only maintenance needed to date has been to periodically tighten some of the cable bolts and lubricate the runners. At some point I may need to replace the cables, but as yet they are not showing any sign of wear. An awesome piece of kit. Note to Powerhouse: it would be good if there was a way to update previous reviews, rather than having to add new ones.

This is a follow up to my previous review from April 2013
I hadn't realised I've owned this piece of kit for quite so long. Six years on, and in use 3 or 4 times per week, and it's still going strong. This is a serious piece of kit. Wouldn't want to put it together myself (in fact when we moved house I paid the guys who originally put it together to come back dismantle and reassemble it), but that's probably more a reflection on my abilities than the kit itself. I can't recommend it highly enough. The movement is smooth and there are plenty of options to keep all of your major muscle groups engaged. One small niggle: the seat post on mine periodically sticks and has occasionally dropped unexpectedly but these are intermittent issues and don't detract from the overall quality. If you want. a good all round multi-gym, I recommend you consider one of these

Serious kit
Bought this machine October 2018,took a couple of days to set up. Very impressed with the build quality and the smoothness of operation.
There are so many exercises you can do, more than the book shows, just use your imagination.Delivery was quick and so far i have had no issues with the kit.

Brilliant
Bought this multi-gym a few months ago but only had a chance a couple of weeks ago to install it. Took me a while (4 days of around 1-2hrs at a time) to get it all set up as I bought the optional leg extension to go with it. Upon installing I found that one of the acrylic panels had been damaged in transit. I called up power-house fitness and they were very supportive. I have been assured that a new panel has been ordered and I should have it within the next few weeks. As previous reviewers have stated, this kit is brilliant! I am able to get a full body workout from this machine and it is built very sturdy which is great as I am a big guy. The weight stack is more generous than most home gyms which was another factor of me purchasing it. It is a brilliant piece of kit and it has me working out everyday since it has been installed.

Flexible and varied exercise
This kit gives you a very varied option of exercises - primarily due to the cable arms. These are fantastic because they are adjustable in angle. The weight stack is also heavier than most, and the chest press arms have different angled handles for targeting different muscles. The icing on the cake is that the chest press arm can be unlocked into a 'freeform' mode where it behaves like a free barbell. The ortho seat is fantastically supportable, and the adjustable angle adds another dimension to attacking different muscle groups.
The bad points, the front foot is tiny so stability suffers slightly when moving really heavy weights, (It's OK but perhaps you expect better at this premium price). The leg support hurts when using heavy weights and is non adjustable for different leg sizes. I was expecting cushioned weights for this price as they still clang when you return them. Family members complain of noise in the mornings :) Assembly took me 36 hours but as one person.

Great kit, tough and versatile.
I bought one of these from Powerhouse a few years back and I'm very pleased with the kit - it's top quality machinery, still working perfectly after a number of years. As the other reviewer suggested, it's not a simple job to construct it - allow plenty of time and read the manuals carefully. My only complaint with Powerhouse was they didn't supply the large plastic side panels that cover the cables/weights and when I called about it they said they were "on order" and would be sent on...never happened, which was slightly disappointing.

Excellent purchase, would highly recommend
I have had one of these for nearly a year now and apart from some little niggles with a cable on the leg section (which Powerhouse resolved quickly and free of charge) I am very satisfied with my purchase. The device is robust and gives an excellent mix of exercise options. I'd definitely consider buying one again.
One small point: unless you are a technical wiz, take advantage of the home assembly option - it'll save you a lot of blood, sweat and tears. This is a complicated bit of kit and not something the uninitiated might look to put together in an hour or so.

Top Gerät für den privaten Gebrauch.
Bringt fast alles mit, was man für ein ausgewogenes Training benötigt.
Stabilität ist gut und die Materialien hochwertig.
Einziger Wehrmutstropfen ist, dass man kein Gewicht nachrüsten kann. Die zusätzliche Verwendungsmöglichkeit der Kabelzugarme hilft hier ein wenig drüber hinweg.
Alles in allem aber ein gutes Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis
