otherwise. Equipment purchased from our website and used in a non domestic
environment will render the warranty null and void unless the equipment
description states it is suitable for commercial use.

Pricing:
Powerhouse “Normal Price” is usually the
Manufacturer's or Supplier's Recommended Retail Price. The "Normal Price"
may be the RRP/MRP plus carriage, however the price you pay will never
exceed the supplier's RRP/MRP and will nearly always be significantly less
and your goods will be delivered free.

Powerhouse Price
Promise:
Powerhouse promise to refund any difference in price, if you find a similar
product purchased from Powerhouse in another store or website. To claim any
refund under the Powerhouse Price Promise, simply send proof of purchase and
a copy of the advertisement or details of where the product is advertised
cheaper to:
Powerhouse Fitness, 57 Beardmore Way, Clydebank, G81 4HT and we will
refund the difference.
Similarly, if you see a product cheaper in any store or website, simply call
0800 212729, and we will do our best to match the price you
have seen.
Please note the Powerhouse Price Promise does not apply to products that are
not available either direct from Powerhouse or at the companies where these
goods are advertised. Our price promise is date specific and any product
that has been advertised at a cheaper price after the date of purchase are
excluded from our price promise. Any claim made under our price promise must
be accompanied by verifiable evidence that the product was advertised a
cheaper price at the same time as purchase from Powerhouse.

Buying from our Mail
Order Returns section:
Items purchased from our mail order returns/ex-display
models section of our website may be partially or fully boxed/assembled and
may have some sort of cosmetic damage. All goods will have been tested and
will be in full working order and covered by a 6 month warranty.
Ex-Display or Mail Order Returns are classed as 'one off'
special purchases and as such are not covered by the distance
selling regulations .

Security:
We take security very seriously at Powerhouse. That's why
any transactions you make over our website are instantly encrypted,
providing security for all of your personal information (Name, Address,
Credit/Debit Card Details, etc).
How do you know that Powerhouse is a 'Secure Site'? Look at
the bottom right-hand side of your computer screen when you are making a
purchase, you'll see a small yellow padlock in a small box, this tells you
that this site is secure. When you see the padlock
symbol, Double-Click it to view the full validity of the Secure Certificate.

Delivery:
Conditions of
Free Delivery
At
present, free delivery
is offered to all Powerhouse customers on
selected domestic
equipment transactions. Customers will be informed of any
delivery charge before ordering. All items, where applicable,
will be delivered in boxes for home assembly by the customer. Goods
will normally be delivered within
5-10 working days. Our free delivery service will deliver
your goods Mon-Friday between 8am and 6pm. Our carriers can
not give specific delivery time. For a small surcharge,
deliveries can be chosen for an AM or PM delivery or a Saturday
morning.
Please contact us for further
details. As a general rule, all orders over £200 in
value will be delivered free in UK mainland, and over £600 free to
Northern Ireland, however many orders under £200 will also be
delivered free, to check simply proceed to shopping basket and check
your available delivery options.
Delivery to
Northern Ireland
is free on equipment orders over
£600.
For heavier items such as treadmills, elliptical trainers and
multi-gyms, we strongly recommend you purchase our premium two man
delivery service at a small surcharge.
One Man Free
Delivery Service
Our one man free delivery
service delivers your purchase to ground level. Depending on
the delivery company and their individual health and safety policy,
this may mean your goods are delivered to kerb side. Our
free delivery does not
include the driver taking your purchase upstairs internally or
externally. Drivers are not insured to enter your property.
Our one man free delivery service may require assistance from you to
assist or move the goods from the drop off point into your home.
Please do not ask the delivery driver to lift heavy items without
sufficient manpower, as this will often be in breach of Health &
Safety legislation.
Free delivery,
where provided, applies to the
UK
mainland only. Free
delivery is provided only to customers purchasing equipment for home
use; not for commercial installations.
Powerhouse use
both internal and third party carriers. Occasionally deliveries can
be delayed for reasons out with our control. Powerhouse can not be
held responsible for losses relating to late or failed deliveries.

Delivery Of Your Goods
Before signing for your goods, please ensure you check the
outer packaging. If there is noticeable damage to any part of the packaging,
please sign the delivery note accordingly. We cannot accept claims for goods
damaged in transit if you have not indicated damage on the delivery note. We
must be notified via e-mail in writing at the address below within 72 hours
of delivery of any damaged packaging.
Any damages, defects or shortages must be notified in
writing via e-mail within 72 hours of receipt of goods to:

Any customer refusing delivery of goods for any reason other
than goods damaged in transit will be responsible for the delivery costs to
the customer and the return to our warehouse. There will also be a
minimum15% restocking charge.
Powerhouse can not be held responsible for any shortages,
damages or defects notified to us after 72 hours from delivery.
While we will make every endeavour to deliver your
products at the time promised, Powerhouse accept no liability for any
incidental expenses caused by late or failed deliveries, or for any damage
caused to property while delivering or installing your goods.

Warranties:
All new equipment sold by Powerhouse is covered by a
minimum one year parts and labour cover. In many cases the warranty is
greater than this.
The warranty on equipment we sell varies from manufacturer to manufacturer. It
can include a full on site repair facility or a ‘back to base’ warranty. In
some cases, where there is a minor fault, the manufacturer will send a part
by mail for the customer to fit.
If an item develops a fault, please e-mail
techserv@powerhouse-fitness.co.uk stating the equipment you have, (brand
and model number), serial number and a brief description of the fault.
Powerhouse will either arrange to send a part for the customer to fit, send an
engineer to site, or in some instances, depending on manufacturer, ask that
the goods be returned to our warehouse. Goods must be well packaged prior to
collection. No goods will be accepted into our warehouse without prior
authorisation from Powerhouse. Powerhouse will then repair or replace the
equipment with an equivalent or better model and deliver the goods back to
the customer at our expense.
Warranties only apply to goods within mainland UK.

Extended
Warranties:
All warranties (Manufacturer and WarrantyPlus+) are valid to UK residents
only. Extended warranties, offer upgrades to manufacturer's warranties
to 3 years parts & labour cover. Warranty Plus is available by

Customer
Service:

All prices quoted are correct at time of going to press, due
to circumstances beyond our control these may change, including rate of
Value Added Tax. The price levied will be confirmed at the time of ordering.
Incorrect/Faulty goods must be returned to us before
replacements will be dispatched.
We strive to keep the majority of the products listed on our
website in stock at all times. Occasionally some items are out of stock. If
you order an item that is out of stock, we will contact you within 48 hours
(2 working days) and advise you when the item is due back in or of any
comparable product that is available. We WILL NOT take payment at this
stage, and won't take payment until you either confirm you are happy to wait
or decide on another product. If you do not wish another product or don't
want to wait, we will cancel your order without debiting your credit/debit
card.
Refunds will be made in the original payment method and
within 14 days of our receipt of goods. All refunds must be
authorised by our staff.

Your right to
cancel:
You have a right to cancel your order and receive a full refund prior to
goods being dispatched. If goods have been dispatched, you have the right to
return goods within 30 days of receipt of your goods. The cost of postage,
packaging and insurance to return the goods will be borne by the customer
and goods must be received by us in perfect condition and in their original
packaging. The cost of delivering the goods will be deducted from any
refund. There may be a re-stocking charge. If goods are not received back in
perfect condition and in their original packaging, Powerhouse reserve the
right not to accept the goods at our warehouse and/or not to issue a refund
or credit. Any costs to redeliver the goods will be payable in advance by
the customer. If the goods have been removed from their original packaging
or assembled, your right to cancel may be forfeited.
Our Standard 10 day return and 30 day online return options apply to
goods purchased for domestic use only. These options do not apply to
equipment purchased for use by a business or for any ‘special order’ items.
Special order items, are goods that are not normally stocked by Powerhouse
and have had to be ordered specifically for a customer. These options also
do not apply to any Nutritional Supplements, software, DVDs, videos or books
where the security or outer seals have been broken. Mail Order
Returns/Ex. Display Models are classed as ‘one off’ ‘special order’ items,
and as such are not covered by our standard 10 day return policy or our 30
day online return option. These terms and conditions do not affect
your statutory rights.
Any free gifts received with your order must be returned if an order is
cancelled.
Please note; our couriers do not collect any unpackaged goods.
All order cancellations or returns must be notified to us by e-mail only. If
you wish to cancel or return goods please e-mail our Customer Service
Department at the address below and we will issue a Return Materials
Authorisation (RMA). Goods must be returned to us within 7 days of receipt
of RMA.

WEEE (Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment) Regulations:
Each EU Member State now has a legal obligation to minimise the disposal of WEEE in landfill sites.
The broad aim of the WEEE regulations is to address the environmental impacts of electrical and electronic equipment when it reaches the end of its life.
We all have a responsibility to contributing to the reuse, recycling and other forms of recovery of WEEE under these Regulations
Over 75% of waste electrical goods end up in landfill, where lead and other toxins contained in the electrical goods can cause soil and water contamination which can lead to negative effects on human health and the environment.
Electrical and Electronic Equipment that was made after 13th August 2005 should display the crossed-out wheelie bin symbol on the packaging or product. The purpose of the symbol is to encourage householders to dispose of their WEEE separately from household waste.
Powerhouse Fitness offer our customers a free in-store take back or collection on delivery service. We will collect your like for like WEEE from you when we deliver your new item.

available on the Website. If you order goods which are not available from

cancelled, we will refund any payment already collected from you in respect
of that order, in accordance with our cancellation and returns policy.
