Because of this, Powerhouse Fitness now offer the option of paying by finance, a convenient way to get your goods sooner and without breaking the bank. Note: Powerhouse Fitness Finance is not available to our business customers.

How do I apply?

You can select to "Buy On Finance" from the individual product page, or you can elect to choose "Finance" from the shopping basket page, which will allow you to apply for finance for more than one item at the same time. Finance applications are for UK residents only.

How does it work?

You will be presented with a short online form which will confirm the product (and price) and then ask you a series of simple questions to give us the minimal information we need to process your application. All finance applications are done in-house by our specialist team who will contact you on the telephone number you provide in the form to then confirm your application.

Do I need to pay a deposit?

All finance applications require a minimum 10% deposit, which we will take over the phone with you when we contact you.

What sort of questions will you ask?

We'll need some additional information, such as your payment details, and at least 3 years address history, plus your employer's address and postcode if applicable. Everything wil be explained by our trained and friendly team when we call you back.

Which products are excluded?

Powerhouse Fitness finance is available on most products over £350. However, rowing machines from Concept 2 and certain Mail Order Returns (and ex-display models) may have limited finance options applied. The form presented when you select Finance (from either the product page or at checkout) will highlight the available options automatically.

Once my application is approved, what happens next?

Once we've spoken to you to confirm your details and completed the paperwork we'll be in touch regarding the success of your application. Once approved you'll be sent an email of the agreement and a copy of our terms and conditions. Once you've read the agreement carefully you'll need to sign it and return it to the our finance company which will be detailed on the form. Goods will not be allocated to your order until you have completed the signed agreement and we get the notification from our finance company.

When will the regular payments start?

Once delivery is booked in with you we will notify our finance company to start the payments on the date specified on the application form.

How long does the process take?

It normally takes just a couple of days, but could take longer.

Will I be credit scored?

Yes, credit scoring is used by all financial services to evaluate the credit risk of new applications. It works by awarding points for each answer on the signed agreement and this allows our finance company to create consistent finance application decisions regardless of sex, race, religion or disability.
